Principal’s Message
Dear Apopka Elementary Families,
I am proud to serve as principal and to work alongside our students, families, and staff to support every child’s success.
At Apopka we celebrate student achievement in all areas, from academics and the arts to leadership, creativity, and community involvement. Every accomplishment matters, and recognizing growth and effort is at the heart of what we do.
My goal is creating a welcoming and supportive environment. When students feel safe, valued, and connected, they are ready to learn and grow, both inside and outside the classroom. We focus on helping them build the skills and confidence they need to thrive in school and in life.
I believe learning should be meaningful, engaging, and fun. Our staff works hard to make every lesson purposeful and to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning. I am also a firm believer that strong partnerships with parents and the community are essential. By working together, we can provide the best support for our students and help them reach their full potential.
I am excited to celebrate the achievements of our students and to continue building a school community where everyone can succeed.
Thank you for choosing Orange County Public Schools and Apopka Elementary. We can’t wait to see all the amazing things this year will bring!
With excitement and gratitude,
Tami Hinton
Principal
